LifePoint Hospitals buys 138-bed Rockdale Medical Center in Georgia for $80 million

Located in Conyers, Ga., the hospital has 138 beds andHospital operator LifePoint Hospitals Inc. said Monday it bought Rockdale Medical Center for about $80 million, expanding its presence in Georgia. about $120 million in revenue annually.

LifePoint operates 47 hospitals in mostly rural areas in 17 states.
